So when the screenshot was taken, which was this past monday, only the time appeared on the screenshot. Thunderbird only shows the time when displaying message(s) that arrived "today" (current date). > does not show a date, it means today, and today is incorrect"? >The list doesn't contain a date? Do you mean that "If thunderbird >What do you mean they have the wrong date in the list? Does anyone know, off hand, which Thunderbird uses? And these various dates are all available to the mail client via IMAP. My question is-Can these problems be related to the hmailserver itself? Can the hmailserver have a damaged database? Or do these sound like thunderbird issues?Īlso I know from another post hmail stores several dates for an email message including sent date/time, delivered data/time, etc. After the restart when the user deleted the messages they appeared to stay in the trash folder. The problem continued until the user fully exited thunderbird and then restarted. They were back in the inbox and gone from the trash folder. However, when the user clicked back on the inbox, the messages appeared to return. They appeared to go to the appropriate trash folder in thunderbird (when we clicked on the trash folder). While I watched, the user deleted a handful of spam-like messages from their inbox. In addition, on one workstation a user reported they were having trouble deleting emails from their inbox. So I have these two computers linked to the same IMAP account that appear to be auto of sync. When I look at the message source, I see the date received by hmailserver does not always correspond to the date shown by thunderbird. On a second computer, the messages either weren't present -or- showed a different date. When I visited today, I noticed messages present (in an inbox) on one computer showing todays date. Recently they have started reporting problems with "dates" being off. Most of the 25 accounts are shared among the 7 workstations. Their business is email intensive and they have a lot of emails stored on the server. They have about 25 accounts (mailboxes) and use IMAP with many subfolders. One of my clients is running hmailserver 4.4.1-B273 and seven workstations using Thunderbird 2.0.0.22.
